Two days ago I was driving through a local neighborhood that I had not been in before and I saw this big pile of trash from a block away. I knew I had to stop. People just do not put out piles like this. No hard trash pickup here. When I got closer I saw a small FREE sign and knew I had to stop. I learned a lot from Ben. I saw a few cords and grabbed them. They were attached to several items with transformers or motors inside. Also several pounds of Christmas lights. It took me a few hours to clip off every light and now that wire is worth $1.95 a pound. (instead of a few cents/lb.)
But then there were a couple of dirty crock pots and toasters. I did not want them. I went back to my car and got my wire cutters (that I now always keep in the car) and clipped off the cords.
