When I was a kid I remember my dad putting out hard rubbish maybe once a year. This was in southern California and many decades ago.
I am in Northern Cali now and no hard rubbish here. The trash company is so against hard rubbish they will only allow you two large items a year. You have to call in and they will pickup and they put the info in your file on the computer.
To make up for that I go to yard sales and try to talk the owners into "recycling" Yard sales are mostly on Saturday mornings. So yesterday in the photo you can see my first stop, these were all free. Ben this is almost better than one of your picking stops. I filled the entire back area (seats down) for $3.50
Today my wife wanted to go hiking. On the 2nd photo is my picking mobile in the Redwoods, about 5 miles from home. In the last one some of the forest wildlife. (6" long banana slugs)
