  • Scrapping electric frypans, grillers, sandwich makers etc..

    Hey all,
Just wondering if many of you who do street scrapping, pick up electrical items such as frypans, George Foreman Grillers, etc, etc - or do you just snip the cords off?

I'm talking about ones with fairly substantial cast aluminium castings with a molded heating element underneath. I presume these would sell as irony aluminium and the weight of them would add up fairly quickly!
I just weighed an old Sunbeam frypan base and it works out at just over 1kg. Sure, that may only be 30 cents or so - but most really don't need any time spent on them and they stack well!
